Special Christmas Eve Service

We had a very special Christmas Eve worship experience Wednesday night. We sang a few Christmas songs, I spoke briefly on "Emmanuel" God with Us, and then we had a free flowing worship time. During this worship time we invited everyone to visit one of four stations set up in the auditorium. One station provided an opportunity for individuals and families to take communion together, a couple of stations included candles that could be lit as we interceded for loved ones, and then another station included a cross with nails. It was on this cross that people could write their sin or burden on a piece of paper and hang it on the cross with the nails provided. There was such a sweet presence of God in the auditorium. The experience enriched our Christmas big time!
