LAST POST OF 2008

This is going to be my last post of 2008 as I take a few days off and just enjoy some chill time. Please check back after New Years for new updates and posts. So, here are a couple of events that really made the end of 2008 special:

2008 Annual Life Church Dream Team Christmas Party - "The Dreamies"

Every year we put on a 5 star Christmas party for all of our volunteers and staff that make up the Dream Team. I can't tell you all how honored I am to serve Jesus with you. Everyone of you are real examples of the spirit of Jesus - the spirit of servanthood. A few pics from the night...

2008 Annual Life Church Christmas Outreach

This year we set up in a low income neighborhood of our city and provided a jumper, popcorn machine, and cotton candy for the kids as well as fried fish plates, grocery bags, and toys for all the boys and girls. We served 200 plates of fish, gave away 75 bags of groceries, and gave away 175 toys. It was so cool and personally my favorite event of this Christmas season! Check out the pics...

This little boy told Hannah as he stood in line waiting for his turn with Santa that all he had asked Santa for this Christmas was a red truck. We all watched as he was handed one of the 175 wrapped toys and unwrapped it to find that it was a red truck. Only God can do that! Let that be a message to you as you enter 2009...God knows and cares about each one of your needs!
