2009: Simple is Better

A few years ago I decided to give up on making New Year's resolutions, and instead started focusing on the bigger picture such as lifestyle changes and/or attitude changes. Last year I decided to make a lifestyle change and focus on bettering myself as a husband, daddy, pastor, and leader. My primary focus was on maintaining a daily devotion time everyday which I did! Second, I committed to change my lifestyle as it pertained to diet and exercise and I am happy to say that I worked out 5 days a week without fail just about every week beginning in the summer and I lost 54 pounds in 2008!

In 2009, I want to simplify my life as much as possible. My motto for 2009: "Simpler is Better". You probably notice the new and much simpler look of my Blog. Angel did an awesome job getting me the simple look that I wanted for the blog. The key to a simple life in 2009 is to prioritze your life with what's important at the top of the list and keeping it there. It all begins with keeping God first and living what I am calling the "God First Life". On January 25 we will begin a life changing series at Life Church simply entitled the "God First Life".
