Mexico Pastor Conference (Days 1&2)

Nathan Martin and I just got back to the hotel after a pretty intense day of training for 400 plus pastors and leaders in southern Mexico. We got back to the hotel in time to check on line and see LSU beat Georgia! Oh yeah. Here is a small report of days 1&2:

Friday: Opened the Pastor's conference with lessons 1 and 2. I opened and then Nathan took lesson 2. While Nathan was teaching Pastor Jose drove me about 20 minutes to a church in the city and I shared a message with a couple hundred hungry people who were seeking God. Formed a great friendship with Pastor Salvador Amado and his precious wife. Supper at Bennigan's with the two pastors and their wives.Pastor Salvador Amado

Saturday: We began at 10:00 am and did four more teachings between 10:00 and 5:00 with some breaks and a lunch on campus at the main church campus here in Southern Mexico. We closed with prayer for the pastor's and their wives. It was a precious time and the Lord was moving and the tears were flowing. I love ministering to pastors! It was a great day. Now a small break in the room here before joining Pastor Jose for dinner. I think we might be hitting Nathan's favorite taco stand tonight! Tomorrow I will speak at our main campus here in Coatzacoalcos and we will drive straight to the airport and fly to dallas via Mexico City before spending the night in Dallas. Home Monday morning. I can't wait to get home to the 318 and see my family! This precious pastor's wife buried her husband yesterday and was at the conference today! Nathan preaching up a sweat. Not hard to do when it is over 100 degrees in the building!
