Finally in Mexico

For those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook, you already know that I had the most unbelievable and difficult trip to Coatzacoalcos Mexico yesterday. Not one flight on time, flights canceled, rerouting, purchasing extra tickets to make this happen, and then over 12 hours later finally arriving at my destination with NO LUGGAGE! So here I am in dirty blue jeans and a t-shirt ready to begin the pastor's conference tomorrow. Not likely I can run out and buy some clothes for the conference - have you ever seen a Mexican even anywhere near my size? I am told by the airlines that my luggage should be here today (you've got to love that little word SHOULD). Please pray it gets here soon.

Pastors Jose and Mario picked me up at the airport with their beautiful wives and spending some time with them last night made the whole ordeal worth it. While visiting them it became very clear why the enemy (the devil) didn't want me to make it. Their words to me were, "Pastor Joel, what will be happening tomorrow here is historic." There are over 300 pastors and leaders registered for the conference and that has never happened in this city or even this region. Now, that is cool!

I will be spending the next couple of days teaching the Equip Million Leader Mandate material written by John Maxwell. I am so appreciative of them for their partnership with us in making this happen and fulfilling this vision. I will try and keep this updated with reports and pictures so keep checking back.

Now got to go take a shower so I can put on my dirty clothes. This is crazy!
