The house was packed with some really special guests as we dedicated some precious little babies and children to the Lord. We were also blessed by Life Church friend and missionary/church planter Greg Evans who shared about what God is doing in south Africa. I shared a message on doing ministry to the 'next generation". The “Next Generation” Ministry Building is the physical structure where our students and children will be reached each week at Life Church. Looking past the physical structure that will stand just behind our main auditorium, we also see lives that will be changed, families that will be healed, marriages that will be restored and young people that will change the course of history. As hard as we will work to finish construction, we will work even harder to see more souls saved for the kingdom and our young people trained to lead us into the future.

When I think about my family, my friends, my church, my calling, my jobs, my health, and so many other things in my life - I am truly thankful! I stepped on the scale this morning and for yet another week I had not lost any weight and I thought I am too big and have to break this plateau and lose alot more weight - but I stopped and thanked God that I am not one of the billion people in our world today who is starving to death. When I think about having to go back to work Sunday and Monday to two different jobs and feel a little bummed - I stop to thank God that I am not one of the 11 plus million people unemployed in US today. I could go on and on but I think you get my drift. Bottom line, BE THANKFUL!
